The design on the red fox's body is an interpretation of architectural patterns found on the castles at Sanssouci: the floors of the ‚Neues Palais’ (the New Palace) and the Chinese Teahouse in Potsdam. While foxes often symbolize intelligence – a cunning character – they also possess a regal flair, making the design on its body fitting. During autumn they grow their fluffy fur preparing for the cold seasons, making them a more beautiful eye-catcher.
