Inspired by the fact that penguins are known to be one of the most social species with strong instincts to stick together and protect their families - it seems suiting to add this wonderful animal to the ALEXADENAUER collection.

The design on the penguins and its chicks is inspired by "Schloss Salem" a castle / boarding school in the south of Germany by Lake Constance. The gorgeous interior of Salem has ceilings decorated in pastels, grays and white, with elements of nature that at first-sight seem symmetrical, yet at second glance prove to not be so. These elements (branches, flowers, shells etc) were allowed to take their natural course, proving that not one flower is a like, and that such variations are beautiful in themselves. Golden accents highlight the importance that ‘that which is imperfect is in fact perfect’.
